Here we are now, bro. Our debut EP Biloba was released on 10/29-21 on all major platforms. Biloba is actually the second Latin name of the Ginkgo tree. It is considered a sign of vitality and is revered as life-prolonging and strength-giving. The bipartite leaf was early closely associated with the symbol of yin-yang. For us the name stands for a musical and personal growing together. Two becomes one. Two brothers in spirit, each has his part and together it all adds up to one. Josef is mainly the voice behind the duo and responsible for the lyrics and themes of the songs. Gustav's long experience as a musician and producer creates the musical framework.
Everything is handmade with love for depth and detail. Inspired by various sounds and influences such as Marteria, Peter Fox, Casper, Robert Glasper or Nik Hakim. Indierap with lo-fi beats and deep lyrics, a bit independent and alternative. Let's hear from each other!
