Ironic how we are taught to pay so much attention and care towards what we say to others, yet completely neglect what we say to ourselves. The most important person in your life is YOU.
Self-talk is our internal dialogue, it reveals our deepest thoughts and ideas. Every single word or remark you make about yourself has a direct impact on your own self image, which ultimately becomes your reality!
Have a thought about all the negative and critical remarks you’ve made about your intelligence, looks, health, and or skills. Your brain is designed to believe what you tell it the most, and what you tell it the most will become your reality.
Practice saying empowering sentences like:
I am beautiful.
I am smart.
I have talents, skills, and abilities.
I have strength, willpower, and confidence.
I am capable of achieving my goals.
I love myself, I have a sense of pride in who I am and what I do.
These affirmations become powerful when you repeat them on a daily basis.
